vAct’s response to COVID-19

As we monitor the continuing development of COVID-19, vAct is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our patrons, staff, and the performing arts community.

During this time, vAct staff will be working remotely to limit the spread of the virus. We do not have any public shows or activities in the next couple of months, and any meetings will be done virtually.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept incoming phone calls at this time. For assistance or inquires, please contact info@vact.ca. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we respond to your inquiries.

Please take care of yourselves, your family, and friends. We know this is a trying time for everyone and we hope you all stay in good health.

We would also like to note that amongst the fear and misinformation spread about this virus, sometimes people are unfairly targeted. If you have felt the effects of this, we want to say we’re here for you and to call on others to speak up and step in when people are being harassed.

For any artists dealing with cancelled projects/performances, grants involving travel, and more, the BC Alliance for Arts & Culture is maintaining an arts-specific resource list on their website related to COVID-19, including strategies on how to deal with the situation. More information.

Best,

The vAct Team
