vAct’s production of Ga Ting was the world-premiere of Minh Ly’s brave new play about an older Chinese couple coming to terms with their dead son’s sexuality.
Ga Ting is an important milestone in vAct’s history: our first fully professional production, where every artist was paid a living wage. If that weren’t enough, we played to soldout houses, critical acclaim, and received our very first Jessie nomination!
