Join the Firehall Arts Centre, Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre, and Blackout Art Society for an illuminating glimpse into the creative process behind Zahida Rahemtulla’s powerful new play, The Frontliners. Director Derek Chan will facilitate thoughtful conversations between playwright Rahemtulla and the Cultural Consultants who engaged in the development in this premiere production. This team will discuss the larger issues the play raises, including resettlement, frontline work, displacement, and the ongoing impact of the Syrian and refugee crises around the world.
